It is very common for a bad trainer to do all his sessions according to what he likes for his own workouts and not what is really best for his client. Every body is different and workouts must be adjusted accordingly.

Wasted Time

Don't use a trainer that spends too much time talking and explaining each move. Yes you want to learn what you are doing so that you can do it properly on your own. However, some trainers will waste half you session talking and demonstrating instead of having you dive right in and keep moving. Remember you will only see results from "doing" not from "watching".
